About our client

Our client is a major 3PL distribution centre who receives and delivers stock to one of the biggest retail stores in New Zealand. They run a busy day-to-day operation and are on the hunt for keen individuals to join their team as they head into their peak season.

The role

We are looking for fit individuals to pick up a full-time, temporary role within the RF scanning/pick packing team. Experience in a warehouse/distribution centre environment is preferred and having previously used an RF scanner is essential due to the high volumes of stock being processed.

Shifts and Pay

Hours of work can be subject to adjustments due to reliance on stock arriving, so flexibility around start and finish times is crucial. The hours may be set anywhere between 6am and 6pm, with the opportunity to work up to 50 hours a week.

The distribution centre operates 7 days a week with set shifts which will run until Christmas. Available shift patterns are:

Tuesday to Saturday

OR

Sunday to Thursday

$19.20 per hour + 8% holiday pay.

To be successful you will have:

• Proven warehouse/distribution experience
• A high volume RF scanning experience
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Great teamwork and reliability
• A high level of physical fitness - items can weigh up to 20kg and you will be on your feet for long periods of time
