About the company and the role:

BRANZ is an independent and impartial research, testing, and consulting company focussed on inspiring the industry to provide better buildings for New Zealanders. BRANZ is located in Judgeford, near Wellington.

We are looking for a Research Analyst to work in our Research Investment team.

As a research analyst you will take the lead in many of BRANZ’s investment, contract and project monitoring processes.   You will provide the team with insights regarding the progress of our investments.    You will work with researchers at BRANZ and engage with a wide range of stakeholders from across New Zealand.   This includes researchers from external partners, as well as government officials and industry members.    In any given day you might be looking at the performance of contracted research, working to help assess new proposals or talking with stakeholders about their ideas and how they can work with BRANZ.    Overall, you will be exposed to a variety of projects in this role.   

What we need from you:

• Strong communication skills
• Internal and external stakeholder engagement experience
• A science or research background
• Experience of investment processes and contracting
• A desire to build a career in research or science
• Personable with the ability to work as part of a high performing team
• A passion for making a difference to New Zealanders through better buildings.
