This leading manufacturer is a successful Maori business. Located on the edge of Taupo township and built on strong values of Excellence, Kaitiakitanga, Tikanga, Integrity and Innovation, which guides their business decisions.

Our client is not just at the heart of New Zealand's dairy industry, but at the core of NZ culture. They have a global reach on the shelves in 23 countries with their products being sourced from local dairy farms.

They pride themselves on being the only dairy factory to use sustainable and renewable geothermal energy to power their state-of-the-art manufacturing processes which includes a Powder plant with a spray dryer and a UHT plant.

On their behalf we are on the hunt for a Reliability Engineer to join their in-house maintenance team.

Your focus will be on preventative maintenance across mostly automated production.You will be responsible for identifying the pro-active and strategic maintenance requirement for assets to increase plant productivity, prevent breakdowns and maximise reliability performance in a sustainable way and to capture all opportunities to improves processes awhile reducing total cost.

Plant reliability and inventory management are key results areas as well as ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will have strong planning, organisational and diagnostics skills, have excellent time management skills and have a proven work history within either the Dairy or Food & Beverage Manufacturing Industries.

To be suitable for this role:

• Trade orTertiary Qualified Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) with some reliability experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience Food Manufacturing Industry (Ideally include dairy exposure)
• Experience with fast moving, highly automated production
• Experience with a variety of processing equipment, such as canning/bottling high speed equipment
• Have MEX experience would be a bonus, however the ability and willingness to learn is essential
• Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
