The Company:

Based in Wiri our client is an industrial manufacturing and processing plant. Having stood the test of time, this industrial manufacture is an integral part of New Zealand infrastructure and in currently in an upgrade phase. What does this mean? MEATY capital works projects!

On their behalf we are on the hunt for a Reliability Engineer to join their in-house maintenance team.

Your focus will be on preventative maintenance & capital projects across there production and delivery network. You will be responsible for identifying the pro-active and strategic maintenance requirement for assets to increase plant productivity, prevent breakdowns and maximise reliability performance in a sustainable way and to capture all opportunities to improves processes awhile reducing total cost.


To be successful in this role you will have strong planning, organisational and diagnostics skills, have excellent time management skills and have a proven work history within either the Dairy or Food & Beverage Manufacturing Industries.

To be suitable for this role:

* Trade orTertiary Qualified Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) with some reliability experience
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience Food Manufacturing Industry, Beverage, Heavy Industry or large scale FMCG
* Experience with a variety of processing equipment, new old and everything in between
* Have MEX experience would be a bonus, however the ability and willingness to learn is essential
* Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
* HSNO experience is proffered
