Job description
Our client is a highly regarded, well-established company with their Head Office based in Palmerston North. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a vibrant and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to join their busy team.
This role will initially be fixed term until October 2021.
The hours are Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 2.30pm.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Greeting and assisting visitors
- Making coffee/tea for meetings
- Banking duties
- Opening and distributing mail
- Data entry
- Basic accounting functions
- Assisting the Shipping Coordinator
- General administration duties
To be successful you will have the following:
- Professional presentation
- Excellent phone manner
- Well developed communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
