Job description

Our client is a highly regarded, well-established company with their Head Office based in Palmerston North. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a vibrant and motivated Receptionist/Administrator to join their busy team.

This role will initially be fixed term until October 2021.

The hours are Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 2.30pm.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Making coffee/tea for meetings
  • Banking duties
  • Opening and distributing mail
  • Data entry
  • Basic accounting functions
  • Assisting the Shipping Coordinator
  • General administration duties

    To be successful you will have the following:

    • Professional presentation
    • Excellent phone manner
    • Well developed communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people
    • Strong organisational skills
    • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
