Our client is looking for an experienced Quarry Operator holding a current B-Grade certification, who can competently operate loaders & excavators.

Due to the nature of the job, you will need to be health & safety conscious and able to identify risks & hazards as they present themselves.

Provided you have a minimum of 2 years of operating 5T excavators or bigger, adequate loader experience and are looking for variety within the quarry industry, then this role is for you!

Day-to-day you will be required to operate dump-trucks, screening plant, excavators, loaders, water carts and general quarry maintenance with machinery.

This quarry is with a North Canterbury client; you will be rewarded with competitive rates, on-going work with the potential for a permanent role, good hours and a variety of operating.

Job Requirements:

• Current B-Grade certification
• Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
• Class 1-4 & WTR endorsements essential
• 2 years minimum operating experience
• Two references confirming your experience and reliability
• Willing to complete a ministry of justice criminal conviction history check

  • North Canterbury Location
  • 40-50hrs per week (Mon-Fri)
  • $30p/h + depending on experience
