OneStaff are New Zealand's leading industrial recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a Quarry Labourer for our client's busy quarry plant based on the outskirt's of Palmerston North.

The role will suit someone looking for a diverse, varied role and we need an individual with an open mind as the expectation requires you to muck in as and when needed.

The types of duties involved; shovelling, maintenance of the quarry ground, replacing screens on the crusher, managing the wood chipper etc.

There is the opportunity for the right person to also grow within the organisation and gain their truck/machine operating licences (Class 2, WTR)

The role is full time, Monday - Saturday, starting anytime from 6.30am until 5pm.

You will need a full class 1 licence and reliable transport to get to and from work. The company is based in Te Matai Rd, Whakarongo.

Suitable candidates will have the following:

• Be physically fit (lifting up to 25kgs regularly)
• Be flexible within a varied role
• Good communication skills
• Clean criminal record, some driving charges are ok
• Great work ethic
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Supply 2 recent work related references
