Our client is a very established and well-known brand within New Zealand's commercial and home kitchens and food manufacturers.

They continue to grow while meeting consumer demand, and require a quality facilitator to join the close knit team in the Quality division of the company .

Please note: this is a dusty environment so any compromised respiratory conditions should not apply.

The role:

The Quality Facilitator is an integral part of the manufacturing team.

The aim of the role is to provide and maintain:

  • Quality systems ensuring operational effectiveness - food safety is of the upmost importance
  • Documentation - competent with computer software, accuracy, problem analysis
  • Regulatory requirements including HACCP, Food Safety Programme, MPI requirements,
  • Legislative requirements and keeping up to date with change to MPI requests
  • Competent in auditing processes - both internal and external
  • Compliance - all aspects of quality
  • Customer/ consumer compliance maintained

    You will be a team player with great leadership skills, working toward a work environment that encourages and develops the team's full potential.

    Health and safety will be a fundamental component of the role.

    To be considered for the role:

    You will come from a Food manufacturing environment, or be in the Food Safety trade keen to progress and develop your knowledge - we expect you to have 2+5 years in a similar role.

    You will be confident in your computer skillset (including spreadsheets) and have excellent communication skills - both written and oral

    Proven problem analysis - ability to negotiate, work well with other aspects of the company are important and great time management is a must!

    The role is based in Mt Maunganui and is Monday to Friday
