Job description

This job is varied, working with various teams and collating all documentation for best practice for the business. You would be the person who trains staff, reviews documents, and assists with internal audits.

You will be overseeing SOPs for quality control & assurance, regulatory compliance, H&S, Continuous Improvement and Corporate contribution. A stimulating and varied role that has the successful person liaising with Line Managers and supporting the team to gain the best possible results. Therefore excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are necessary, along with a logical and analytical mindset.

Based in Paerata, your day could consist of:

  • Facilitating training in new SOPs and updates
  • Co-ordinating with relevant departments to ensure ease of understanding SOPs
  • Assisting with the Quality Management System
  • Involved with non-conformances
  • Performing internal bi-monthly GMP audits as per schedule
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Identify and report hazards and incidents
  • Participate in wellness programmes

    You will need the following skills to be suitable for this job:

    • Proficiency with document writing (must have)
    • Minimum 2-3 years FMCG experience specifically with Quality and Operations
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Word
    • Good time management and interpersonal skills
    • Effective planning and organizational skills
    • Self motivated
    • Flexible and innovative
    • Tertiary qualification or Diploma in Diary Technology (desirable)
    • HACCP knowledge (preferably qualified)
    • NZ legislative regulations knowledge
    • Negotiation and problem solving aptitude
    • Resilient and courteous at all times
    • NZ Citizen or a Permanent Resident
    • Full NZ Drivers Licence
    • No criminal history
