Our client is on the hunt for a Quality Assurance Co-Ordinatorwith a positive and hardworking attitude throughout.

About the role:

The role will be to develop and execute quality assurance methods to ensure technology is fit for its purpose and meets customer expectations. Monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing and publish data and reports on the quality and accuracy of product. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess high levels of initiative. You will be committed to continuous improvement and positive change. You will also have the ability to effectively prioritise your workload in a challenging environment, and be able to work unsupervised.

Main Duties

  • Implementing strategies, with a particular focus on utilising electronic technology, to manage the QA programme and assure timely QA of materials and resources for the engineering and assembly programmes
  • Working as part of the team to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Identifying areas for Continuous Improvement; assisting in the development and implementation of tools / methods that promote productivity and efficiency.
  • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement with suppliers
  • Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
  • Assessing suppliers' and Avapac's product specifications and customer requirements
  • Working with procurement team to establish quality requirements from external suppliers
  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation
  • Identifying relevant quality-related training needs
  • Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary
  • Monitoring performance through gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports
  • Some manual duties will be required, including sorting and handling materials upon delivery
  • Other duties as requested

      To be successful for this role you will need:

      • To pass a pre-employment drug screen, as we have Zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol policy
      • To complete a MOJ (criminal history check)
      • Provide 2x forms of ID (Passport, Drivers' License, Birth Certificate)
      • Have at least 2 x work references
      • Be available for immediate start
