Job description

Our client is a highly regarded fresh food manufacturer. Based in Avondale they are looking for a new team member to join the team for a maternity cover. As this company continues to grow, there could be opportunity for longer work.

As a Purchasing Officer, you will need to be a good communicator who is adaptable to change and with excellent attention to detail. Experience in food industry would be an advantage.

You will be responsible for:
* Ordering materials for production as required from various suppliers and locations. Fresh, dry, frozen, packaging etc.
* Arrange transfer of materials and storage facilities
* Completing stock counts
* Liaising with warehouse and inventory staff at all levels.
* Completing wastage reports/data
* Data inputting
* Claiming Credits for damaged goods.

* This is a full time role, Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week
* Weekly Pay - with 8% holiday pay
