Job description

Our busy manufacturing client are looking for a purchasing/ manufacturing assistant to start with them ASAP.

This is a full time 45 hour a week position working Monday to Friday. Training will be provided.

You will be responsible for all purchasing on site from office supplies to timber and manufacturing products. You will be in charge of monthly stock takes and communicating with external suppliers and internal administration and dispatch staff.

Key skills for this role include:

* Computer competency and a solid administration background
* Experience with database systems would be ideal, preferably Mitek
* Previous stock management experience would be beneficial
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* High attention to detail

The hourly rate is negotiable between $22 and $25 an hour depending on your level of experience.
