Real Estate

Job description

Looking to utilize your property expertise in a career defining role?

• Strategic Management

• Future focused organisation

• Attractive salary

We are seeking an experienced Individual with property experience who can hit the ground running. This organisation is growing and has some important space planning and refurbishments underway across the portfolio and needs an experienced Property Manager to help pull it all together. This is an environment where proactivity is ‘king,' while being reactive, is the exception — not the norm. If this is how you’ve been longing to operate — read on!

The Real Estate and Property Manager will provide strategic and operational direction and support for all Property related matters. The role will manage a portfolio of properties owned and leased by the business, as well as manage tenancies leased from or by the business by or to external parties. The incumbent would need to prepare and control annual budgets, for the management of properties or space planning requirements. It will further seek to formulate a strategy to direct the management of properties for the portfolio, including long-term spatial planning in consultation with the Master Planning function.

Exceptionally skilled at managing tenant relationships, you will operate on the front foot — staying one step ahead of issues and in doing so, maximising tenancy longevity and income. This includes balancing customer satisfaction with business profitability, tenant compliance, customer communications, resolution of tenant issues, reporting, managing budgets, ensuring relevant information is available at all stages of tenant life and information flows are systemized and effective across all areas of the business. Assists service managers to source new general locations to relocate in conjunction with Real Estate agents.

People oriented and genuinely driven by delighting your clients, you’ll be an accountable, critical thinker with outstanding communication skills and a results-driven approach. Ideally degree qualified, you’ll already have credibility in the property industry — perhaps from property management or a related background. You will have a high knowledge of space planning, quality marks and public reporting systems. Your talent for engaging your clients will be balanced by the ability to drill down to the detail and continuously improve systems around you.

In return you will be well rewarded with an attractive salary + car park whilst working for an organization that is highly respected in the industry, an environment that will truly add to your expertise. If you’re ready to shift your career up a gear — get in touch with Samantha van der Merwe
