Project Engineer

Our client is an Auckland based civil engineering construction company specialising in infrastructure, drainage, pipe jacking, tunnelling, sheetpiling and shaft construction.

              Responsibilities:

              • Supervise subcontractors to deliver outcomes on time ,within budget.
                • HSQE
                  • Manage and compile QA packs
                    • Prepare methodologies (Work Instructions)
                      • Support foreman with the completion of paperwork
                        • Work with the Foreman to organise materials and equipment for the project (exact roles are going to depend on the foreman)
                          • Planning of the works with the site team
                            • Liaise with client; site meetings, reports etc
                              • Liaise with senior management (including PM, directors, construction manager)
                                • Liaise with stakeholders ie AT, residents, Council etc

                                  To be considered for this amazing role you will have the following:

                                  • 5 years NZ Infrastructure project experience as an Engineer with drainage, pipe jacking, tunnelling, sheetpiling and shaft construction.
                                    • An appropriate Diploma or Degree qualification in Civil Engineering
                                      • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and IT.
                                        • Drive, ambition and integrity.
                                          • An ability to deliver outcomes on time and budget under pressure
                                            • Effectively lead and supervise subcontractors
