Job description

We are looking for an experienced project coordinator to join a busy project team in Whangarei for 6-12 months. You will be to be able to provide ongoing superb support and add value to their team by being the hub of the projects, which include building, engineering and installing facilities, by keeping track of schedules, financials and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will assist with:  

  • Project planning and scheduling
  • Drafting of and obtaining endorsements/approvals
  •  Implementing appropriate risk, issue, change, dependency, quality, communications and contract controls
  • The completion of project methodology deliverables and planning documentation
  • Maintaining project documentation
  • Gathering and consolidating data for monthly reporting

You will provide Administrative and Operational Support by:

  • Organising attending and facilitating stakeholder, supplier and evaluation meetings
  •  Assisting in the administration and management of projects and procurement processes
  • Using project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans and budgets
  • Preparing and distribute papers and agendas for Project Boards and any other project meetings, and take minutes
  • Ensuring consistency across project filing structures
  • Establish and maintain systems for collection, storage and retrieval of programme related documentation.

  • Advanced MS Word and Excel, Outlook and Visio
