Job description

Our client is seeking a Programme Co-ordintor for an 8 month contract!

The core focus of this role is based on reporting and governance, and you will support the effective and efficient running of the programme and contribute as an active member of the Programme Office. You will also lead and support the Programmes various Project Coordinators.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • The coordination of and active management of programme reporting
  • Provision of informal leadership to the various Project Coordinators
  • Maintenance and ownership of various central programme artefacts
  • Administration of the various programme facilities
  • Coordination of the various hiring and procurement processes
  • Assisting with risk management processes
  • Secretariat function on occasions

The following skills & experience are essential:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a programme coordination role including responsibility for scheduling and reporting
  • Proficient in progress reporting: methods, techniques and tools for reporting the progress of activity against plan
  • Have good problem solving skills, be resourceful and take the initiative when needed
  • Solid understanding and experience in the application of programme and project management principles, methods and processes
  • Excellent written communication skills as well as excellent oral and presentation skills
  • Proficient in minute taking, planning meetings and collating papers
  • Proficient in planning techniques: methods, techniques and tools for planning and monitoring programme and project activities
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Visio
