Our client is one of the leading producers in food production. They supply food to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants and operate through all lockdown levels.

Based in Upper Hutt in a state of the art facility you will become part of the family and have every chance to upskill yourself along the way.

About The Role

This is a key role in which you are responsible for achieving high standards - the quality of our products depends on you. Ideally you would have FMCG experience

You'll be involved in;

• Preparing and weighing up ingredients
• Working on the production line
• Packing and stacking
• Safe and efficient operation of production machinery
• Ensuring we produce high quality products to company standards
• Cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment
• Basic preventative maintenance of machinery
• Following all hygiene, health and safety and food safety requirements

  Our current rosters are based on 12-hour shifts (day shift or night shift) across four days starting at 5am and finish at 5am. You will be required to work overtime every second Saturday.

  Key requirements

  • Class 1 Full or Restricted
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Previous experience with food
  • Manufactory or mechanical experience is advantageous
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

    • Starting rate of $20 - $21.50 with the chance to increase your rate once you go permanent
