Our client is a specialist manufacturer and supplier of insulation products and they are in need of a Production Team Leader. This role requires you to work 12-hour rotating shifts, both day and night shift, 4 days on and 4 days off (2 days d/s and 2 days n/s).

You will be required to lead a shift of 7 or 8 people in a pressurised manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring safe working practices and Health & Safety, team motivation and delivering on production targets.

The team leader would be the go-to person in resolving production and quality issues on the line, so experience within a manufacturing and or production environment would be key. Knowledge of line speed, operating SCADA control systems, curing ovens, machine set-ups, production lines and working to tight deadlines would be ideal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with people management experience and a can-do-attitude with excellent command of English.

To succeed in this role, you will be a great communicator, with proven management skills and at least 5 years’ manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisor, 2IC or team leader role.
