Our client, a specialist food production company, are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their established team.  

This role will be overseeing a team of approximately 10 production staff and is a hands on leadership role so having a working knowledge of all facets of batching/mixing/blending operations, food safety, quality control and health and safety is desired.  

Key responsibilities include:
* To oversee and control all production processes
* Ensure all mixing and packing functions are carried out on time and are correctly labelled in the right bags
* Monitor storage compliance procedures to avoid contamination of product
* Team and culture development
* Health and safety management in the workplace
* Compliance with legal and company policies and procedures
* Wastage management
* Liaison with Quality Control Manager and Administration Manager to ensure smooth and accurate delivery of service

* Forklift licence (helpful to assist on the floor as required)  

This role is a Monday to Friday job working 40 hours / week (may be some additional hours but generally no weekends).     Experience with SQL based software and MRP systems would be advantageous.
