Gallagher Fuel Systems Ltd, part of the Gallagher Group are leaders in the design and manufacturing of Fuel Dispensing and Vapour Recovery Systems for use on Fuel Forecourts in New Zealand, Australia and further afield.

A fixed term opportunity has arisen in this forward moving company for a Production Planner to join their Operations Management Department based in Marton.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the key purpose of the role is to devise a work schedule that ensures labour, machines and raw materials are lined up in a production plan that will meet customer and business requirements, providing product in the right quantity, at the right time while minimising costs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Complete the schedule updates within the allocated cycle time
• Ensure the appropriate production and resources (material and labour) are lined up to meet the Demand Plan
• Schedule to the level load targets placed on each work centre
• Work closely with internal Planners to tackle issues proactively before issues arise

  To be successful you will ideally have:

  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • SAP experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Manufacturing knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    This role may suit a recent graduate who is keen to gain some experience within a forward moving coming. The ideal start date is 1^{st December 2018 and potentially ending 29th March 2019.}
