Our client is well-known and well-established manufacturer of architectural products in the Waikato region. Their brand new, state of the art manufacturing plant has caught the eyes of many. With its opening, they are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to look after the afternoon shift between 2.30pm and 11.00pm Monday to Friday for this world class facility.

As they put together a new production team, this is a people focused role where you will act as a strong leader to ensure the team strives for excellence and head in the right direction going forward. This is a well-established business who has achieved great success in the industry, so it is paramount to be able to impart the same winning culture and standards onto the new site/ new team.

Ideally we are looking for candidates from a building/ architectural/ construction product or a highly automated manufacturing background. However, the key thing we are looking for is proven senior leadership experience among a multicultural/ diverse team in a large production setting in NZ.

* Extensive leadership and management experience in a production setting
* Proven success to lead a team in a large organisation
* Experience in coaching and guiding staff, experience in HR and performance related matters
* A continuous improvement mindset
* Experience in working with different departments effectively
* Health and safety concious
* An analytical mindset and able to problem solve
