    Our client is a well-established family-owned business with over 50years history in NZ delivering Aluminium solutions to the construction industry. Operating out of the Hamilton facility with support from the Whanganui factory you will be responsible for Production Management of the factory and team.

    To be successful as the Project Manager we are looking for the following:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead 25 strong manufacturing team, drive engagement, performance, and team development and add value to the business
    • Management of production scheduling, logistics', Inventory control management
    • and quality control
    • Liaise with project and department manager within design, residential, commercial and admin teams
    • Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment
    • Experience using systems with knowledge of ERP systems and good computer literacy
    • A calm demeanour and the ability to handle pressure and deadlines
    • Experience in a Manufacturing and/or Assembly environment

      Skills & Experience

      • Proven Production management experience in manufacturing and construction
      • Solution focused with People leadership skills
      • Performance and continuous growth focus
      • Good knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
      • Excellent communication skills
      • Strong attention to details
