Our Client is a well-established FMCG operation based in Himatangi. Our client is New Zealand's leading egg producer, they produce a wide range of shell eggs through to processed eggs, both pasteurised and cooked for your eating pleasure!

We are currently recruiting an individual to work in the processing section of the business.

The role

This processing role will mainly be feeding product into a specialised breaking machine which cracks the shells and extracts, and can separate, the yolk and whites. The duties also include packing processed products into boxes ready for distribution, working on an inspection belt and general clean up at the end of the days production.

This role is in the redline food processing area of the business so you will be required to wear full PPE which will be supplied to you.

The position is currently a temporary role however there may be a possibility of the role moving into a permanent position. The work is not heavy but you do need to be reasonable fit as you will be moving around the factory and lifting product for majority of your shift.

Days and Hours

Days of operation for this client are Monday to Friday, however this position will start in a Monday-Thursday capacity. Start times can vary depending on the processing schedule for the following day but can start as early as 5am/6am each day and you would expect to work 5-8 hours per day again depending on the processing schedule.
