Job description

Our client is seeking 2 x Business Analysts to start from 4 February for an initial 5 month contract.

The core purpose of this position is to provide effective business analysis and core analytical documentation including but not restricted to design documents, process maps, analysis and reporting, impact assessment, options analysis, process and procedure materials and any other analytical documentation required to support design and implementation as defined by the workstream lead and project manager.

They are seeking candidates with the following experience:

Essential:

  • 8 years+ business analysis experience in a project environment with a clear business, rather than ICT, focus
  • Experience in developing and designing new business functions, including gathering business requirements
  • Excellent research skills (ability to find information quickly, assess relevance and reliability, draw out relevant information)
  • Proven ability to clearly present analysis and ideas on paper, to write succinctly and think strategically and critically about an issue
  • Experience with large scale implementation projects including developing user stories and user requirements, user acceptance testing (process, systems, services), developing training material and training, implementation readiness assessment
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Experience with business functions emanating from new legislation
  • Experience authoring project artefacts such as project charters 

Relevant experience in:

  • best practice business analysis methodologies
  • business impact analysis
  • business process mapping
  • developing business and systems requirements documents
