About the role:

We are looking for a press machine operator with a good level of mechanical reasoning and attention to detail to join the team on full-time, permanent basis. Duties for this role would include operating machinery on a daily basis, visual grading of finished product and spotting defects, store person duties and heavy lifting.

Must be flexible and able to work on a rotating shift roster. You will be required for two day shifts (7am-7pm) and two night shifts (7pm-7am) and then will have four days off.

  The right candidate for this role will have

  • Mechanical understanding and aptitude
  • Press machine experience or knowledge preferred
  • OSH forklift licence
  • Full class 1 licence preferred but not essential
  • Stores experience
  • Experience working on a rotating shift pattern
  • Literacy and numeracy skills - testing required
