The Company

This is a polished design and construct interiors consultancy/contractor that advises on solutions. It has a 360-degree service offering including space and interiors consultancy, project and build management. Its a fast paced working environment and place high importance on stakeholder/client management. 

They have clients spread across multiple sectors including the tech sector, media and advertising, legal, hospitality, education and corporate. Project sizes are mainly between $500K - $1.8M with some $3M - $5M in value. They pride themselves on being a great place to work, they are passionate, honest, straight forward and output driven.

The Role

There are two roles available wih varying degrees of experience required. One at Junior/Intermediate level and the other at Intermediate/Senior level.

The role primary focus is to represent and protect clients’ interests in project and cost management. It requires a mix of client meetings and delivery communications, executing project delivery strategy and managing project schedules, preparing project financial reports, scopes of works and sub-contractor selection, organizing sub trades, co-ordination and managing performance of consultants, and project close out. Whats important is the ability to price projects from drawings and take it through to tendering requiring strong finanancial knowledge and familarity with NZ contracts.

Your Background

Your background could encompass main contractor or consultancy, but what is needed is estimating knowledge/experience. You could be a QS with project management experience or a PM with estimating experience. You need to be able to understand the tender process for fitouts and ability to prepare documentation and review drawings. You are skilled in being able to procure and select sub-contractors, and manage a project from start to finish. You have an eye for detail and can work with and develop efficient systems. You must have a high level of project management software experience. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development skills as well as your ability to lead and drive projects.

The Offer

This role offers between $80K - $130K pending experience + bonus + other benefits
