We are looking for an experienced Service Technician to provide exceptional power tool, machinery and cordless tool servicing and repair. You will use your wealth of experience to identify issues, complete repairs on schedule while keeping to dealer, brand, and company standards.

This position is based in Porirua, Wellington with an expected start date of January 2019. This is a sole charge, full time, permanent position working from Monday to Friday.

Tasks:
· Performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on many types of tools and machinery while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints
· Test repairs and communicate issues to manager and service advisor's
· Replace parts and components and keep detailed, organised records of all repair work done on each machine and tool
· Communicate with the workshop assistant about parts ordered, parts required, and timeliness of order completion
· Competent in repairing electric hand tools, cordless tools

Skills and Qualifications:
· Electrical ticket required
· Small engine repairs experience beneficial
· Knowledge of Mechanics and Electrical Systems
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Strong Communication Skills
· Experience using computer, MS office as well as the ability to learn computer accounting/stock system.
