Due to growth in the business they are currently seeking a Trade Qualified Plumber to join the Plumbing division within the group.

Duties for this role

Progressive Engineering is currently looking for a Trade Qualified Plumber. This could be someone who has been in the industry for a while or somebody who is new out of their trade. You will quickly become part of the team and have the following responsibilities;

• Residential Plumbing
• Agricultural plumbing in & around dairy sheds & clients farms
• Backflow preventer testing & certification
• Purchasing of equipment for up and coming jobs
• Managing a work van ensuring it is stocked to cater for urgent needs
• Management of job cards & timesheets
• Assisting the team with quote preparation & pricing

  To be considered for this position you will need the following

  • Plumbing Trade Qualification
  • Strong Attention to detail when processing timesheets, job cards & other detailed tasks
  • Excellent Communication with fellow staff & clients to ensure work is carried out to a premium level & any issues or concerns are escalated promptly to mitigate negative impact on clients and company
  • Exceptional Time Management & Organisational skills ensuring deadlines are met
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Strong ability to problem solve and use initiative
  • Full Drivers licence

    Days & Hours

    7am Monday to Friday with some Saturday work as required

    Tools

    Successful applicant will be required to have their own tools however a tool allowance is paid over and above the hourly rate
