I am seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Platform Engineer for a 12 month intitial contract with a well known client in the energy sector.  The role will provide DevOps expertise, system setup, configuration, automation, scripting and tools. It’s an open shift environment so knowledge of Linux is required. This role will oversee the implementation of an OpenShift system, alongside the company's automation and configuration plans.

To be successful for this role the following skills and experience are essential:

• Providing DevOps expertise, system setup, configuration, automation, scripting and tools.
• Experience in Windows and Linux environments
• Driving automation across critical services, implement, manage and enhance development in development pipelines
• Integration, CI/CD, Packaging, configuration management and monitor build
• Creation of implementation plans and estimates
