Personal Assistant

Admin and Secretarial

Job description

Fourteen years ago, Julie Chapman started KidsCan from her garage to help Kiwi kids achieve their education potential. Since then, this amazing charitable trust has distributed 27 million food items, 170,000 shoes, 345,000 raincoats, 341,000 socks and 741,000 health and hygiene items to 740 schools.

Julie also created Pet Refuge Charitable Trust, New Zealand's first shelter dedicated to providing temporary accommodation for pets affected by family violence. And who knows what she will achieve next with you by her side!

For you, this is an opportunity to partner with an accessible, down-to-earth and truly inspiring CEO to make a difference to our Kiwi kids and pets. It's a role where you can be proactive, use your initiative and enjoy the autonomy that comes with a position of trust.

You'll split your time between KidsCan and Pet Refuge, supporting Julie with everything from diary management, travel and correspondence to Board secretary duties, logistics and reporting (as well as that personal stuff a great PA takes care of from time-to-time.) Here, your calm, confident, professional approach and exceptional communication skills will show your true value in the role.

You'll impress us with your depth of experience as an EA or PA, including working closely with a Board and management team (and all that entails). Your attention to detail, literacy, and ability to anticipate needs will be second to none, while adaptability, organisational skills and Microsoft suite prowess will be showcased among your accomplishments. A natural people person and relationship builder, your warm personality and positive outlook will be obvious from the moment we meet you.

At part of the passionate KidsCan team, you can look forward to an attractive salary, phone allowance, great Albany base with parking and flexible hours.

If you're an awesome PA who can help Julie make magic happen each and every day - we want to hear from you. Contact Matt Turner on 09 869 6251 for more info.
