Payroll Advisor


Job description

Opportunity to delve into complex HRIS reporting and analytics – be part of a system upgrade – be the payroll SME for the company!

You will have:

  • Strong experience in payroll processing, ideally with an outsourced payroll
  • A good understanding of payroll related legislation e.g. holidays, tax, superannuation, ACC etc
  • Experience with SAP, PayGlobal or AMS Leader would be beneficial to your application
  • Strong experience with Excel with the ability to write formulas, pivot tables and v lookups. Macros ability is desirable but not essential

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Looking after the life cycle of an employee, including queries
  • Assisting with month end consolidation and reconciliations
  • Calculating final payments and processing deductions
  • Assisting with system upgrades and ongoing process improvements
  • Helping the wider HR team with HRIS reporting/analytics as required
