Payroll Officer

    My client is looking for a part time payroll person to support the business during this busy time of the year. This is a temp role of initially 1-2 months with potential for an extension.

    As a Payroll Officer, you are expected to:

    Core Priority tasks

    • Process all support staff and relievers time-sheets
    • Process all payroll adjustments, amendments, leave, allowances as instructed to by Operations Manager or Principal
    • Issue new time-sheets for new pay period to support staff
    • Monitor and respond to emails through Outlook payroll and file all closed electronic tickets
    • File all staff payroll completed files
    • Print fortnightly reports for Operations Manager
    • Update SUE report data and banked staffing into Toolkit
    • Reconcile payroll transfers for posting into Accounts
    • Other payroll related tasks as required

      Secondary Priority tasks

      • Assist with managing inward payments and receipting, general filing and other administrative work as required
      • Provide support to all archiving records and processing to offsite storage

        To be successful for the role, you must possess:

        • Proven experience in payroll
        • High attention to detail
        • Systems knowledge (Payroll systems preferred)
        • Good communication skills

          The working days per week is Monday, Thursday and Friday starting at 8.30am to 4.30pm.
