Our Client, a leader in commercial painting and interiors is looking for an experienced Painters Foreman. You will be in charge of a small but close knit team performing supervisory tasks, project coordination, materials and equipment procurement and any related tasks under general supervision of the Project Manager. As a Painters Foreman you must have excellent leadership and communication skills, display well rounded product knowledge in all aspects of Commercial Painting including but not limited to spraying and spray machines, Health & safety requirements, reading plans and specifications and the ability to plan day-to-day operations in line with the clients and project manager's requirements. You will also be able to perform the full range of highly skilled painting and finishing tasks on a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Individuals in this classification will also be required to provide instruction and direction to lead painters, semi-skilled painters and unskilled helpers as job conditions may require.

Job Description Includes, but not limited to:

  • Procure and ensure delivery of project materials and equipment
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment for project duration
  • Mixing of paint components and matches colours per specifications
  • Applies paint with a brush, roller or other spray equipment as required
  • Takes proper care of all materials, tools and equipment
  • Over-see the day to day operations on the job site and create a safe and productive environment for your team
  • Maintain daily logs, accident reports as required
  • Create task lists, project schedules, organization of invoices and payroll hours
  • Insure strict adherence to company policies and protocols for Health & Safety and quality control
