Painters and Brush Hands Wanted

Trades & Services

Job description

2020 is fast approaching and with no signs the trades are getting quiet in Wellington, this busy team knows they need to plan as they continue to grow.

At Onestaff we're starting to see a fantastic and exciting trend emerging of more women working in the trades. For you all female tradies out there, this is a company who want to push that message loud and clear so for ANYONE who has the right skills, ability and attitude....we're very keen to hear from you.

  • If you are an experienced painter/fore-person looking for a change, or if you're a painter who is ready to step up to more of a foreperson/supervisor role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. My client is realistic about the rates they're prepared to pay and because they work on award winning jobs, they're prepared to pay good money to get the right people on-board. If you're not a trade qualified painter but have plenty of experience then they're very prepared to let your work speak for itself when setting your rate of pay.
    • If you've been working as a Brush Hand and you just don't feel like you're getting the chance you need to step up and earn better money, this company may still want to hear from you. If you're reliable, have a fantastic work ethic and enjoy working as part of a great team...they definitely want to hear from you.
      • If you're travelling through Wellington and only have a month or two that you can commit to, or if you want to keep your options open then temporary positions working with this client could be a great option.

Successful applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ and will need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen prior to being offered employment. A current site safe or construct safe and working at heights cert would be an advantage but won't be a deal breaker.
