The main responsibilities are:
- Driving results without compromising quality or Health and Safety
- Mentoring, supporting and directing the production team
- Occasional shift work may be required
- Managing breakdowns and minimalizing downtime
- Preventative maintenance scheduling
- Trouble shooting - solutions oriented
- Ensuring 5S in all operational areas
- Maintaining regulations and compliance
- Training in quality requirements
- Continuous improvement opportunities
- Engaging work force to be the best they can
- Daily Production and toolbox meetings
What you bring to the role:
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of advanced mechanics
- Leadership training expertise
- Trouble Shooting skills
- 5+ years experience in line management
- Prove ability to drive change
- Experience in identifying performance improvement projects
- Great relationship building skills internally and externally
- Tenacious, attention to detail, calm under pressure
- Good understand of Health & Safety, and audit requirements
- Excellent Excel/SAP skills
