Our client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to take charge of their Manufacturing facility. The incredibly hands on role consists of managing the daily production, forecasting stock requirements, managing your team to ensure production targets are met along with ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are exceeded. You will form part of the management team and work closely with the Office Manager & Stores Supervisor to ensure production runs smoothly through the business, this will be a fairly physical role with you being required to be hands on - assisting in all areas of the business on a regular basis.

You must have

  • Current OSH fork hoist licence with experience necessary
  • Proven experience as a people orientated change maker
  • Excellent communication & core soft skills
  • A working practical knowledge of branch & manufacturing operations
  • Min 3 years' experience in a production supervisory role
  • Be looking to take the next step up the ladder in your career
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal history check
  • Be prepared to work alongside your team on a daily basis
  • Be able to operate hand & power tools (namely skill saw/chainsaw)
  • Be practical with excellent handyman skills
  • Able to do heavy work
  • Good computer skills
  • Prepared to do what it takes to add value to the business
  • Excellent Numeracy & literacy
