Operations Manager

We are seeking an Operations Manager who can plan, organise, lead and direct all resources for all operations and sales. You will establish production policies and procedures, be responsible for production goals and financials.. Reporting to the Managing Director, this key role is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the Auckland Branch operations, will ensure the profitable operation of the business, and develop new business opportunities to create profitable sales growth while maintaining existing customer relationships.

To be successful, you will ideally be from a manufacturing background, with proven production management experience.

As a minimum you will have:

• Intermediate level experience in manufacturing/production industry/Fabrication
• Tertiary qualifications with relevant Science/Engineering/ Manufacturing/Maintenance or Technology experience in production environment.
• Quality systems experience
• To establish and maintain a positive community relationship
• To Drive a Zero Harm culture
• Provide accurate forecasts, updates and requested reports to the GM
• To be responsible for the product quality control for the production
• Understanding of costing side of the business
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to develop and implement plans to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction
