Operations Coordinator- Well respected and established Scaffolding Company in South Auckland.

We are looking for a Coordinator dynamo with at least 3 years experience with a coordinating background in Construction. Transport, Logistics, or a Hire/Distribution company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Update current Day jobs- daily.
  • Review previous day jobs to verify correct entry from Leading Hand.
  • Input new job details on a daily basis.
  • Input new day jobs for the following day, allocating workers and trucks to specific jobs.
  • Organise the daily run for workers ensuring travel time between jobs is minimised.
  • Update the daily run spreadsheet and advise Admin on staff who are late, or absent If working.
  • Overtime and what start/finish times for overtime if unable to clock in/out.
  • Daily update Armada with driver changes,map info.
  • On a daily basis contact client with updates on deliveries and pickups.
  • Verify any extra hours for staff- Weekly basis.
  • Distribute truck check forms,verify,action,any issues ie: Services, WOF,RUC,-Weekly basis.
  • Check finish date on jobs, on a weekly basis to see if hired person has lapsed, if so you must contact the client.
  • Communicate with clients regularly and make sure the client has no complaints.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager for stock inventory, stock control,quantities and sub hired scaffold required.
  • Liaise with GM and MD on a regular basis
  • Ensure all employees wear PPE at all times.
  • Ensure staff follow Health and Safety protocols and company policies.

    What you need to bring to this role:

    • As outlined at least 3 years experience in a Cordinator role in Construction,Transport,Logistics or a Hiring company.
    • Great communication skills on the phone or face to face.
    • Proficient IT skills.
    • A born multi tasker who thrives on pressure.
    • A pleasant, outgoing personality who gets on well with people at all levels.
    • Motivated, hard working and ambitious.
