Adecco Christchurch has an exciting opportunity to work a specialist structural engineering consulting company. Formed in 2006 by experienced engineers, the company has developed a loyal and ever-expanding client base and has quickly become one of the leading consulting companies in Christchurch. Specialising in delivering structural design solutions our client played a critical role following the 2010-11 Canterbury earthquakes and have grown in a sustainable manner to the nineteen-strong talented team they have today. Engineering is their passion and their Specialty!

Our client and its already successful team is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to keep the infrastructure of the business moving along harmoniously. This role is not for the fainthearted and requires a person who loves each day being full of variety and challenges. With an in-house family of Directors and growing supportive team this role is a very exciting opportunity.

Duties:

*Office procedures ensure efficiency while supporting 19 staff members
*PA to Directors
*Xero Accounting & Finance functions - payroll, invoices, reconciliation, online IRD Returns *Marketing and management of social events and functions
*HR / H&S advice, fleet management, Strong people management skills
*Management of the Receptionist Skills & Experience
*Ideally at least 3+ years in a busy office management / PA role
*Industry knowledge an advantage
*Advanced MS office skills
*Organised and able to multi task while working in a busy and demanding environment
*Ability to keep calm under pressure
*Must take initiative to ensure the office runs smoothly, committed to teamwork, high level of attention to detail and self-motivated

This is a busy yet exciting role with development potential, with a strong team of engineers and draughtspeople on board and a busy workload, the company has a huge future ahead. You will work closely with a exsisting junior administrator and will be an integral part of the company. This position is to ensure that the office and its staff operate as efficiently as possible.
