Newly created role, based at Airport Oaks, small friendly team, lots of resposibility!

Our client is looking for someone with the right attitude to add a level of support to this busy organisation and assist with meeting high levels of customer satisfaction.

In this newly created role, based at Airport Oaks, you will be supporting with a variety of purchasing tasks and accounts administration, so there is lots of opportunity to design the role to it your own.

The sheer scope of this role is what will keep you engaged in the business and give you a sense of satisfaction on a daily basis.

The various duties of this role include:

Purchasing : 

  • Release Planned Purchase orders and released works orders
  • Reviewing Purchase orders and contacting vendors
  • Filing Purchase Orders.
  • Reviewing reports for stock outs and expediting open orders.
  • Monitoring price increases and communicating changes as necessary.
  • Assisting with procurement of new suppliers and investigating opportunities for cost improvements

AP / Accounts :

  • Entering invoices accurately against POs
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Taking ownership of issues relating to AP

BOM updates / system integrity :

  • Ensure that the IT system is always up to date and accurate.
  • Ensure that the web site (pricing, freight) is always up to date and accurate.
  • Updating system items, freight as changes are made from forms supplied by sales or factory manager
  • Work with the Financial Controller to manage cycle counting, stocktakes and investigating issues such as stock integrity.

  • Ability to build rapport easily with customers.
