Type: 32 Hours per week, 24 hr Shifts

        The Opportunity:


        Your role as a Registered Nurse means providing excellent clinical care including assessments, planning, evaluating outcomes, and liaising with both patients and family. You will be responsible for monitoring care, outcomes, patient's conditions and behaviours. You may also be required to administer medications and assist with daily activities.

                The successful applicants will be providing:

                • Care & support to residents and participating effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary clinical team
                  • Delivering exceptional care and demonstrating this in all aspects of the role
                    • Preparing, monitoring and evaluating all care plans for residents as required
                      • Completing and maintaining accurate documentation
                        • Adhering to all Health & Safety standards and hazard identification, including managing any risks
                          • Support to the family/whanau of residents, ensuring they also feel well supported

                            Key requirements for this role are:

                            • You must be a New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
                              • Have a caring attitude and empathy for others
                                • The ability to work on a rostered shift basis
                                  • A basic understanding of the needs of different cultural groups
                                    • Excellent communication skills, including computer literacy and concise reporting skills
                                      • Be self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude

                                        Candidates for this role will be required to complete a Ministry of Justice check and have New Zealand Residency or a New Zealand work permit.
