I am seeking an experienced Senior Network/Firewall Engineer for a contract through to the end of June for a private sector client. This role will be limited to 8 hours/day, 40 per week and will involve the use of Microsoft, Network and VMWare Technologies.

To be successful for this role you will require the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge and experience of HP and Dell servers – deploying & troubleshooting in an Enterprise hosted environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Technologies – Network services (DHCP/DNS), CIFS
• Experience with Network Technologies – CISCO Switching/routing, DNS, Forward/reverse proxy, Juniper, Aruba and Checkpoint.
• Experience with VMWare Technologies – vSphere fundamentals
• Skills in Network Management – Monitoring, Backup, Service Restoration
• A qualification such as CCNA,CCSP,CCIE is desirable .
