We have developed a new and exciting opportunity within our New Zealand business and are seeking a National Business Manager to join our team to drive the operational strategy and delivery throughout Adecco's operational branch network.

Reporting to the National Sales & General Staffing Director, this senior role oversees the daily management, development and delivery of business strategy for the branch network which services our valued clients, candidates and associates. While this role plays a critical part in driving continued success, and assisting branches to maximise opportunities, it will also work alongside the senior management team to drive our sales and operations strategy into the future of work.

Success in this role will be measured by being able to positively influence and build swift rapport with key internal stakeholders and branch managers, whilst assisting them to deliver to their targets, and be innovative in serving their regions. The successful applicant will demonstrate versatility, creativity, open mindedness, and be a strong leader who enjoys taking charge.

This role is also responsible for the delivery of continuous improvement and OH&S to ensure our culture in all aspects of the business and to be a champion of Safety First. Direct reports to this role include all operational Branch Managers. This role is based in central Auckland, however there will be a requirement for regular national travel.

We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate:

  • Successful operational experience in the recruitment or related industry setting
  • Strong leadership capability and experience in leading successful teams
  • A strategic focus with proven financial acumen, someone who doesn't get stuck in the weeds
  • Excellent relationship building skills that engages all stakeholders within an organisation
  • Understanding of business processes including compliance, H&S and operational requirements
  • Ability to drive growth to increase profitability with significant experience in managing budgets and profit and loss for a large company
