We have current mill hand vacancies available now at our clients Whangarei based timber mill.

You will be processing timber which includes both manual handling and machine operation. Dependent on which department you are assigned to there may be shift work involved but this does not include Fri, Sat or Sun nights and very rarely would involve weekend days enabling a great work/life balance.

Experience in manufacturing or labouring roles is an advantage but not essential. Shifts are generally 10.5 hours per day and you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness but most of all a great attitude towards working as a team member and a high respect for health and safety.

On the job training will be provided on a site that places importance on safety first. You will be working for a large Tran-Tasman company that offers great career opportunities. A fair hourly rate plus over-time is offered.

Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and medical.
