Our client specialises in food, water filtration and clean air solutions. They have global reach with locations across 30 countries but still manage to have a family feel at their Te Rapa based plant. After expanding their assembly and fabrication teams they are now looking for a skilled metal finisher to join the team in 2022.

This is a workshop-based role polishing and grinding stainless steel to food grade levels, great attention to detail is required. Ideally you will have 2 + years’ experience with stainless steel grinding and polishing, bead blasting, and stainless steel electro polishing.

To be successful for this role you will also:

* Be physically fit and able
* Be comfortable working with chemicals and resins
* Be fully vaccinated for the health and safety requirements of this workplace
* Be comfortable undertaking other workshop duties when required e.g., assembly tasks
* Be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
* Have great work-related references

This is a Monday to Friday permanent position with working hours between 7am and 5pm.
