Our client is a NZ equipment provider and service partner to the automotive, auto electrician & transport industry. They are in need of an experienced and motivated person with mechanical background to join the team.

Roles and responsibilities, will include, but not be limited to:
* Installing and collecting industrial parts washers & other leased equipment
* Clean, service & repair parts washers & lease equipment in the field
* Refurbish lease equipment as required
* Service company vehicles & plant equipment
* Provide a high level of service & support to customers
* Identify client needs and expectations of service

The ideal candidate will have the willingness and ability to travel and service clients across the North Island (stay-away/overnight approx. 3 nights per month) to visit prospective new clients to win new business.

You will be Mature, reliable and self-motivated, with a mechanical background and experience. You will thrive on excellent customer service, have good communication skills and the ability to work in a small team.

You will have excellent attention to detail and have a Class 2 vehicle license. If you have D endorsement, it would be an added value, however, the client would be willing to sponsor the individual to obtain Hazardous substance handling certificate.

You will have a commitment to health & safety, preferably have a Forklift license, otherwise the company is willing to sponsor obtaining one. Light manufacturing & welding experience would also be an advantage .

The successful candidate will receive training and support.
