This is a great opportunity for experienced people to join a very successful company based in Rotorua.
Our client requires an experienced Mechanical Fitter with extensive Fabrication experience for their busy HEAVY-DUTY industrial shop. Experience programming and using CNC equipment and Plumbing Hydraulics etc an advantage
Your background will be from the manufacture of earth moving equipment, cranes, heavy transport etc

You will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an Industrial, Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Engineering environment. Good communication skills oral and written, Drug free, Good Health and Safety record with a desire to make a difference in the work place.
Requirements:
· Absolute dedication to constantly producing high quality workmanship
· Experience in heavy walled fabrication
· Experience in either earth moving equipment, cranes, heavy transport essential
· Trade qualified, Journeyman or extensive hands on experience essential min 3 years’ experience
· Able to read and interpret CAD drawings
· Great attitude and team orientated
· Dedication to ensuring H&S within the work place
· Drug free
· Self-management and good time keeping skills
Our client offers a good remuneration package including overtime rates after 40 hours per week
There is a strong internal progression ethos within the company so fast track to leadership potential is possible.
To be considered for this role you must be resident in and legally entitled to work in New Zealand with at least 3 years NZ experience.
