Our client is a reputable local engineering company who provides industrial refrigeration solutions for the food and dairy industry nationwide. Due to increased workload, they are now seeking an experienced, degree qualified Mechanical Engineer to design, project manage and help commission specialised, ammonia based refrigeration systems for the processing plants.

While office based, this is also a hands-on role that sees you working on the client's site on a regular basis. From a mechanical engineering background, you will need to be an expert and have extensive experience working in HVAC, utilities, facility services and industrial refrigeration. CAD skills is paramount as the main purpose of this role is designing these systems.

This is a busy and fulfilling where you can be working on multiple projects simultaneously and overseeing them from start to finish. Other than your technical aptitude, your ability to problem solve on the fly and work effectively with their clients and other contractors and tradesmen on site will be the key for success in this role - if you have any hands-on trade skills will be highly advantageous.

In summary, the requirements for this role are,

* A degree in mechanical engineering
* Extensive design experience in HVAC, utilities, facility services and industrial refrigeration
* Commissioning experience is highly desired
* Ideally have overseen projects from start to finish
* Effective communicator with advanced level of English
