About the role:
Join a dedicated utilities maintenance team as a full-time water treatment mechanical assistant. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, working within a committed team to achieve long-term goals for our client's reticulation networks.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
* Perform water and wastewater treatment operational duties, including routine and planned maintenance of the plants
* Collaborate with the team to ensure client's long-term goals are achieved within the capabilities of the reticulation networks
* Manage workload allocation and plan forward work
* Drive customer service delivery and quality to meet KPIs
* Supporting all health & safety compliance and regulations
Skills and experience:
* Valid Class 1 driver's license (Class 2 would be advantageous)
* Confined spaces certificate
* Interest in water infrastructure and wastewater treatment operations
* Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
* Excellent verbal and written communication, and tech-savvy
* Must be eligible to work in NZ
