We are currently looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to join a close-knit team working in a cool environment with fresh and frozen meat portions.

About the client

Our client is a Hornby-based meat processing factory. A well-known, nationwide brand who need motivated people who are looking for and willing to commit to a long-term opportunity.

The Role:

The role is a temporary full-time position with the potential to move to a permanent role, working Monday-Friday. The shifts can have varying start and finish times so flexibility is a must. This is a great opportunity for people wanting to work up to 50 hours a week.

The role requires a variety of duties which include but are not limited to:

• Lifting boxes up to 20kgs
• Handling raw and frozen meat
• Boxing and packaging meat

  About the candidate:

  We are looking for people who have meat and/or food processing experience and have a reasonable level of physical fitness as the job will require you to be on your feet all day. The successful candidate will possess:

  • Food handling experience
  • A good understanding of food safety
  • Good listening skills
  • Physical fitness and can-do attitude
